Electric tug near Harecastle Tunnel on the Trent and Mersey Canal
Description
Black and white photograph showing the electric tug moored on the canal with a group of men on and beside it. The tall man on the towpath in the forefront of the photograph is beleived to be Christopher Marsh, Divisional Waterways Officer. There is a brick arch bridge in the background. The tug was withdrawn in 1954 so this photograph must pre-date that event.
