National Coal Board raising 'Douglas' on the Leigh Branch of the Leeds and Liverpool Canal
Description
Black and white photograph taken looking across the canal, shows several people on boats and on the side of the canal. One of the boats has pumps leading off it into the water, there is a wooden structure on the water which appears to surround the top of a boat, and a diver in the water to the left of this. There is a man turning a wheel on the side of the canal.
