Boats travelling through the Audlem lock flight on the Shropshire Union Canal

Description

Black and white photograph taken from the side of the canal, shows the ex Fellows, Morton & Clayton Limited, British Waterways working butty narrowboat "Urmston" ("F282", "Registered at Birmingham No 1309") and 'Waterwitch' in the fourth lock down the flight. "Urmston" is in the foreground with 'Waterwitch' visible in the distance, there are numerous people gathered on the side of the canal and on the boats, including someone working the lock gate and some boat people on "Urmston". Another set of lock gates can be seen beyond a road bridge in the distance, there are houses by the side of the canal.
