Black and white photograph taken by Cyril Arapoff showing a scene on the Trent and Mersey Canal. Taken from the towpath on the side of the canal, there are 2 Anderton Company horse drawn narrowboats on the canal with people on and by the side of the boats. There is a horse on the grass to the left of the towpath and spoil heaps are visible in the distance.
