Description
Black and white photograph taken by Cyril Arapoff showing 3 working narrowboats at the top of the Anderton Lift. The narrowboats shown are "Mersey Weaver & S. C. C. Co. Ltd General Carriers", "Aboukir, No 156", "Punch, No 105", and "Holland" which is number 100. There is a woman stood on the stern of "Holland" and one stood on the back of "Aboukir", a man stood on the cabin of "punch" and a girl stood in front of the boats on the side of the canal.
