Description
Black and white photograph taken by Cyril Arapoff showing 3 working narrowboats at the top of the Anderton Lift. The narrowboats shown are "Mersey Weaver & S. C. C. Co. Ltd General Carriers", "Aboukir, No 156", "Punch, No 105", and 'Holland' which is number 100. All of "Aboukir" and "Punch" can be seen with only part of 'Holland' visible. There is a woman stood on the stern of 'Holland' and a girl stood in front of the boats on the side of the canal.
