Grand Union Canal Company butty 'Bayswater' and motor 'Abel' in Berkhamsted
Description
Black and white photograph taken by H C Casserley of the Grand Union Canal Carrying Company Limited butty narrowboat "Bayswater" (name is visible on the front of the boat, on the cabin is written "G. U. C. C. Co. Ltd" and the fleet number "239") in Berkhamsted. Taken showing the back end of the boat, there is a man stood by the cabin holding the tiller and the motor narrowboat "Abel" can be seen towing it in the distance.
