Samuel Barlow motor 'Admiral' on the canal at Berkhamsted
Description
Black and white photograph taken by H C Casserley of the "Samuel Barlow Coal Co Ltd" motor narrowboat "Admiral" (both names written on the side of the cabin along with "Registered at Daventry, No 524", "Coal Contractors", "Birmingham, No 45", "GU.12157") on the Grand Union Canal at Berkhamsted. Taken showing a close-up of the cabin and engine room, the doors to the engine room are open and there is a man stood behind the cabin. There is a pile of coal on the right of the photograph.
