Plan of the proposed London and Birmingham Junction Canal by Thomas Telford and of the proposed shortening of the Oxford Canal by Charles Vignoles; a section view of Telford's canal is also included. Landmarks, properties, field boundaries, roads and waterways on the canals' route are also represented. Based upon data surveyed in December 1828.
