'Kenelm' negotiating the bottom lock at Kingswood on the Stratford on Avon Canal
Black and white photograph showing Sir John Knill's motor narrowboat entering the lock. Taken with the bow of the boat in the foreground, the hold is mostly empty and the stern of the boat is passing under a split type bridge over the lock entrance. There is a man visible steering the boat and several people on the bridge looking over. [The boat was formerly a Grand Union Canal Carrying Company Limited narrowboat called 'Epsom']. [The boat was returning from Market Harborough Rally]. [Photograph by the Birmingham Post and Mail]
