'Columba' and 'Uranus' at Hawkesbury Turn on the Oxford Canal
Description
Black and white photograph showing the working narrowboats 'Columba' and "Uranus" at Hawkesbury Turn on their first trip under Sir John Knill's ownership. Taken from the side of the canal looking towards the back end of "Uranus", the boats are still decorated in the colours of their previous owners and on the side of the cabin "H. Dean & Son. Manchester" is written. There are buildings behind the boats in the background.
