Black and white photograph taken from the side of the canal looking towards the back end of the motor narrowboat, Ron Wilson can be seen steering with Charles Lane on the gunnel. Part of the butty 'Uranus' is visible in the background. [This was Ron Wilson's first trip working for Sir John Knill] [The boat was formerly a Grand Union Canal Carrying Company Limited narrowboat called 'Epsom'].
