Description
Coloured lithograph showing Northwich Old Bridge. Typescript caption 'The two-arched bridge over the River Weaver at Northwich was built in 1662. It replaced an ancient oak bridge damaged and destroyed during the Civil War. It was demolished 1857-8 and a new bridge erected' This caption is signed by Tom.J. Yarwood 1st June 1848(?)
