Napton Locks on the Oxford Canal

Description

Views showing Folly Bridge no 113 and Napton bottom lock, a maintenance boat, can be seen moored below the lock. The boat is believed to have been built specifically for the Oxford Canal Company, possibly by Harris Brothers of Netherton: the boat was 40' long and survived (with a few modifications) until the 1990s when it was scrapped at Bull's Bridge when the repair yard was closed down.
