Views of towpath tractors 'NXL 409' and '643 AMD' working alongside barge horses. Views of a dapple grey horse and its handler and a bay horse 'Tom' with his handler Edward 'Jumbo' Smith, the horses can be seen straining to start the boat moving, pulling a barge between locks and eating from a nose basket at a lock and while walking
