The Birmingham Canal Navigations at Great Bridge

Description

Views of Ryders Green Lock 8 with a cottage alongside the lock and stables opposite with a dayboat working through the lock, the boatman can be seen strapping the boat into the lock and the horse can be seen waiting for its nosebowl to be filled with water, a view of a loaded dayboat "Joe" on the Haines Branch, the horse can be seen crossing towpath bridges alongside the canal also a view of the bottom lock and cottage of the Ryders Green flight with Great bridge Basins seen on the left with two moored iceboats.
