Description
View across fields to the River Soar.
July 2017 - it is believed that the photograph was taken from a train, looking south-west, on the Midland Railway main line at Red Hill. The River Soar is straight ahead with Red Hill Lock out of sight behind the trees. The Trent Navigation would therefore be, out of sight, to the right of the photograph.
