Steam dredger 'Empress' and crew on a canal
Description
Black and white photograph showing the "T. Laver & Co Contractors Ltd" (written on the cabin at the stern) steamer on a narrow canal, there are numerous men on board and equipment visible. "Empress Steam Dredger" is written on the cabin at the bow of the boat. There are houses, industrial buildings and a church visible through mist in the background.
