Boatwoman in traditional dress stood in the cabin doorway of the narrowboat 'Florence'
Description
Black and white photograph showing the elderly boatwoman, the cabin doors are open and are decorated with roses and castles.
November 2017 - it is believed that this boat was ex-Fellows Morton & Clayton, Reg. 117, and became 'Kingfisher': under Willow Wren it was shortened, and was subsequently lost in a fire in 1987 on the Leeds & Liverpool Canal.
