Scene at Purfleet Wharf in Camden Town on the Regent's Canal
Description
Black and white photograph showing the wharf depot of J Walker who was a contractor, general cartage, sand and ballast merchant. There are barges and a sailing boat on the water, and men stood on the boats and beside the canal. There are industrial buildings around the wharf including one with "J. Walker Contractor Purfleet Wharf Camden Town. N.W." The wharf is situated just above Hampstead Road Locks, now known as Dingwall Dock.
