Willow Wren narrowboats at Salford Bridge on the Birmingham Canal Navigations
Black and white photograph, shows the sterns and cabins of the Willow Wren motor "Sandpiper" (name written on the cabin), and butty 'Coot' [formerly 'Ursa' and 'Enid']. There is a boatwoman stood at the stern of 'Coot' holding the tiller and a dog looking over the side of the boat. The cabin doors are open on both boats with castle paintings visible. The boats are moored at Elements Wharf, there are industrial buildings and stables in the background.
