Narrowboat being renamed at Stoke Bruerne on the Grand Union Canal
Description
Black and white photograph showing the ex Ovatline narrowboat 'Albert' being renamed "Phoenix", the new name is being painted on the cabin. The "B & M.C.C.Co.Ltd Birmingham" butty "Pictor" is next to it with people onboard and washing hung out. In the background the boat weighing machine can be seen in the dry lock, there is also a bridge and several buildings alongside the canal.
