Boatwoman washing clothes at Bull Bridge on the Grand Union Canal
Description
Black and white photograph showing Mrs Sam Brookes washing clothes in a vinegar barrel beside narrowboats on the canal. The narrowboats are the British Waterways Board butty "Bayswater" and 'Slough', they are loaded with barrels of lime juice. Taken looking north, there are buildings in the background.
