Description

Black and white photograph showing the motor 'Stirling' and the butty 'Nunhead breasted up and moored on the canal, they are loaded with coal. The top locks and bridge at Stoke Bruerne are visible in the background, there are buildings beside the canal including the old grain mill (now the National Waterways Museum).
