New gates being installed at a wide lock on the Grand Junction Canal
Description
Black and white photograph taken from the bed of the canal, shows workmen digging with scoops in the lock and five boys watching from a plank over the lock. There is a pair of lock gates leaning against the canal wall, and another pair in position further along the lock.
