"Summer Moonlight"
Description
Black and white photograph of an illustration by E Duncan, shows a working narrowboat entering a lock on the Grand Junction Canal. There are boat people visible by the cabin of the boat and working a pair of lock gates, there are also several horses beside the canal. Another set of lock gates can be seen in the distance. [Illustration was in the Illustrted London News in 1859].
