Scene at Tringford Pumping Station on the Wendover Arm of the Grand Junction Canal

Description

Black and white photograph taken from the south-east, there is a square building next to the main pumping station which was a lead lined fuel tank for the diesel engine. There is a maintenance boat on the canal with an onboard steam engine and belt drive to a cement mixer. There are several people stood in front of the pumping station.
