Narrowboats and boat people at a Buckby stoppage on the Grand Junction Canal
Description
Black and white photograph taken from beside the canal narrowboats shown include the Fellows, Morton & Clayton limited steamer "Emperor" ("No 238") and the butty 'Oak'. There are numerous boat people in the photograph, including 3 men sat on the cabin of "Emperor", Jim Woodfield [grandfather of J Gumley] is in the centre. There are children and a horse by the canal.
