Black and white photograph showing the butty narrowboat "Middlesex" ("Fellows, Morton & Clayton. Ltd. 1396", "Registered at Uxbridge. No 344", "No 76, 18658, 11254".) with the motor narrowboat 'Lion' in the background (Registered at Birmingham, "No 1286"). Granny Humphries and Thirza Humphries are at the stern of "Middlesex", there are decorated cans on top of the cabins. [Photograph taken on the Northern Section of the Grand Junction Canal].
