Repairs at Hanwell lock 97 on the Grand Junction Canal
Description
Black and white photograph showing bricklayers repairing the offside wing wall below the lock. Also present below the lock are a maintenance boat, floating concrete raft and a pumping engine. Above the lock there are some shear legs which are stringing up the bottom gate. There are numerous people watching beside the canal.
