Salvage of the No. 4 De Klop Steam Dredger at Monk Meadow Dock
Description
Black and white photograph looking along the canal towards the front of the dredger, shows it floting upright and with the hull emptied. The main hauling brackets are jammed against piling and the brackets are partially burnt away. The tower top wire is stilled rigged as a safety precaution. Part of a barge can be seen in front of the dredger, there are people stood beside the canal and warehouses are visible in the distance.
