Steam tug 'Primrose' and sailing ships on the Gloucester and Sharpness Canal
Black and white photograph showing the length of the steam tug, there are 2 men on the tug and "Primrose" is written near the bow. Numerous sailing ships can be seen moored in the background.
July 2019 - information received suggests that this may be the tug formerly named "North Star", built in 1883 by John Duthie, Sons & Co., Footdee, Aberdeen. 30 tons GRT, 2 cylinder steam engine, 62 hp.
