Bridgewater Canal Company steam tug 'Patricroft' towing boats
Description
Black and white photograph taken from beside the canal, shows the stern of the tug with a boat person visible. There is a rope leading off the stern towards 2 loaded boats which are off camera. They are on the Runcorn side of Old Trafford Bridge looking towards Runcorn. There are 2 other steam tugs visible further along the canal and a horse on the towpath.
