Motor barge 'W E Burton' and dumb barges at Alder Root Bridge on the Sankey Canal
Description
Black and white photograph showing the bow of the motor barge as it travels along the canal, there is are dumb barges behind it. The barges are passing through a bridge which is being constructed, the supports and one end of the bridge have been built. There are smartly dressed men stood beside the canal.
