Description
Black and white photograph taken from beside the canal, shows the butty narrowboat travelling along the canal with a boat person at the tiller [possibly Syd Gibbons]. There are 2 girls stood in the foreground watching the boat. There are industrial buildings including the corner of Griffith's Mill, beside the canal and Seller Street/Egerton Street road bridge in the middle distance, there is a church visible in the background - City road Methodist Church.
