"Rechabites Boat Trip, 1914"
Description
Black and white photograph taken from beside the canal, shows a school trip on the wide boat "Thornham" at Littleborough on the Rochdale Canal. The boat is filled with children and teachers, there are numerous people on the towpath. There is another wide boat at Littleborough Wharf in the background which also appears to have a school group on it. There are industrial buildings in the distance.
