Description

Black and white photograph showing the British Waterways motor "Cormorant"and the ex Fellows, Morton & Clayton Limited butty 'Hilda' (No 158, BCN 1693, UXB 571) tied up next to a barge. A pile of small concrete blocks is being hung over the open hold of 'Hilda', there are boat children and boatmen visible on the narrowboats and the barge. There is another barge in the background and industrial buildings beside the river.
