Marple maintenance yard on the Peak Forest Canal
Description
Black and white photograph taken from above the canal where there are people in a small rowing boat. Beside the canal is the yard with one building, this has a sign which reads "British Waterways Marple Maintenance Yard" on it. There are boats moored on the canal including a maintenance boat. Also visible are a stop lock, dry dock and a turnover bridge.
