"The Old Windmill at Eanam, Blackburn"
Description
Black and white photograph of a drawing showing Blackburn's only windmill at Eanam Wharf on the Leeds and Liverpool Canal. Also shows loaded short boats with people on them, people and a horse beside the canal, and industrial buildings and a bridge. [Windmill built by Sam Berbyshire & John Miller in 1822, it caught fire shortly afterwards, the supposed cause being friction].
