Work at Upper Foulridge Reservoir on the Leeds and Liverpool Canal
Description
Black and white photograph showing a 15 cwt Neal Crane at work near the reservoir, taken looking along the top of a bridge. The dam was raised by building a wavewall in 1954, following Harry Prescott Hill's statutory inspections under the Reservoirs (Safety Provisions) Acts of 1945 and 1952: the other images in this series are pre-works photos.
