Pair of recently built Royalty Class narrowboats.
Description
Black and white photograph showing a pair of recently built narrowboats. The boats are a pair of Royalty Class narrowboats, a motor called 'Prince' and a butty called 'Princess'. Taken looking at the bows of the boats which are side by side, they are sheeted up and ready to move off. There are 4 sets of running blocks in position on "Princess's" top plank. 'Princess' was built by Bushell's, 'Prince' by Pollocks at Faversham.
