Ice boat in action on the Grand Union Canal
Description
Black and white photograph of an ice boat in action on a frozen section of the Grand Union Canal. Taken from above the canal, there are several men on either side of the ice boat. There are numerous narrowboats stuck on the ice, including the "Rupert Craven" from Faringdon narrowboat called "Josephine Marguerite" which is on the bottom left of the photograph.
