Description
Black and white photograph showing a pair of narrowboats, the motor 'Greenlaw' and a butty, beginning their descent in a lock at Buckby. Taken from the side of the canal looking along the lock, there is a boat boy operating the lock gate paddle on the right of the photograph and a woman further along the lock. Another lock can be seen in the distance.
