Scene at the bottom of the Anderton Lift on the River Weaver
Description
Black and white photograph taken from above the river, shows a "J Jackson Grundy" coaster for "Imperial Chemical Industries Limited"on the far side of the river. On the river at the bottom right of the photograph there is a H Seddon & Sons butty narrowboat next to a powered barge, [the narrowboat will be either unloading onto the barge which will go to sea or being loaded from the barge before it travels up the lift]. There are cranes, industrial buildings and chimneys by the river and in the distance.
