Narrowboats 'Skate' and 'Turtle' at Weston Point Docks on the River Weaver
Description
Black and white photograph taken from the side of the canal, the cabin of "Skate" is in the foreground, the name is visible on the cabin with "Regd at Birmingham No 1596". There is a boatman looking out over the cabin, the boat is carrying aluminium cargo in gots. The bow of "Turtle" can be seen in the distance lined up with various unidentified narrowboats. There are buildings and cranes beside the dock.
