Description
Black and white photograph taken from the side of the canal looking towards the stern of the boat, "Jeanette" is written on the stern. There are 2 pumps leading from an industrial building into the coal with men holding them. The short boat 'Jane' is on the opposite side of the canal and is being loaded with coal by a machine. Industrial buildings surround the area.
