Decorated short boats at Wigan Power Station on the Leeds and Liverpool Canal
Description
Black and white photograph taken from the side of the canal, shows the sterns of the boats where the names are painted, boats shown include "Rosemary" ("Reg No 19"), "Daphne" and "Peter". The boats are loaded with a cargo, there is a crane by the boats which has a grab bucket, it is unloading cargo onto the top of a small building. There are buildings running alongside the canal.
