Suction unloading the short boat 'Romabate' at Liverpool on the Leeds and Liverpool Canal
Description
Black and white photograph taken from the side of the canal looking towards the stern of the boat, "Romabate", "Liverpool" and "Registered 1110 Manchester" are written on the stern. There are men on the boat and the suction pumps are in the hold towards the bow of the boat. The area is surrounded by industrial buildings, including a Tate & Lyle factory.
