James W Cook & Company Limited's 'Auk C' being towed on the Aire and Calder Navigation at Castleford.
Description
Black and white photograph taken from the side of the canal looking towards the stern of the boat, shows it being towed above Castleford flood lock. The boat towing can be seen further along the canal. There are 2 men on "Auk C", the name is written on the stern of the boat along with "Hull". There is also a sign which reads "James W Cook & Co Ltd Tank Barge ...ers Hull" and "Inflammable" is written on the side.
