Boats on the Aire and Calder Navigation at Castleford
Description
Black and white photograph taken from above the canal, the barge "Kittiwake C" is in the foreground travelling towards the camera. Behind "Kittiwake C" there are numerous barges and other boats along the canal, including a train of compartment boats to the side of the canal. There are buildings beside the canal and a road bridge can be seen in the distance.
